This copy has had extra images added of 12 of the seal plates, tipped in on thrown out stubs, taken from another copy. The reason for this is unknown to me. It does not affect the original pages in any way, rather adds to the appeal.
The first edition was printed in 1677 compiled by Francis Sandford, Lancaster Herald of Arms. This second edition is brought up to the date of 1707 by Samuel Stebbing, Somerset herald of Arms. The engravings are by Wenceslaus Hollar, Richard Gaywood & Francis Barlow.
