(335x250x22mm), n.d.c.1860 publisher’s brown cloth with bevelled boards, embossed with gilt decoration and title, a.e.g., pp54 (27 leaves) each with rich chromolithographic full page illustrations, printed by Albert Warren, the recto of every page contains the text, printed in black on a gold field with wide decorated borders, the verso contains pictorial illustrations in a similar format, ownership inscription on front free flyleaf and on first blank, dated 1864 and the same name, slight wear to head and tail of spine, all leaves are secure, interleaving tissues are present, loose and grubby, they appear not to be needed and could be removed, one page with tears to foredge not near the image, very good.
