An extract from Letter XI 1773 “Dear Sir, I am very glad to hear that you are come to a refolution to have nothing further to do with Mr.**** in the way of correspondence or intimacy. And I hope you will extend your refolution to all men of that fort, be they ever fo pious and zealous. My reafon for this advice is plain. - You are not likely to do Mr.**** any good. There is no mending wrong-heads,......”
