First edition thus, 8vo (220x150x20mm), unclipped dust jacket, slightly torn at head and tail of spine, and corners, but good, contemporary name on front flyleaf, internally very good, line drawings as chapter headings and 4 full page lithographs by Fish.
One of only 2 books illustrated by this artist. He designed a couple of dustjackets and there were plans for an illustrated Confessions of an English Opium Eater which never materialised.
